Clean –up Day Sunday, April 22nd 8 am - noon.

  • Information: Did you know that the SNETT is one of the longest trails in southern Massachusetts? Currently a nationally registered trail owned by the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation, the SNETT was formerly an abandoned rail line that recently has been improved in several towns to provide a safe environment for walking, jogging, and riding bikes and horses. We hope to clean up the section of the trail in Bellingham that starts at Fox Run Road (near Center Street) and continues towards Blackstone.

Kathy Wicks, a lifelong Bellingham resident and member of the Bay State Trail Riders needs, your help cleaning up the trash that has accumulated on the trail as our first step in the improvement process.

  • When: Sunday, April 22, 2012
  • Where: The SNETT entrance at the end of Fox Run Road near Center Street, Bellingham, MA
  • Time: 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
  • Weather: The Clean-up will be held in rain or shine.
  • Parking: In the cul-de-sac at the end of Fox Run Road
  • Clothing:Wear weather-appropriate clothing and/or boots if it’s raining or muddy, and work gloves.
What to bring: You can bring a rake and/or a wheelbarrow or trash bags to make it easier to carry the trash to the dumpster.
